Welcome to Photos of Shropshire website. Local Historian and author David Trumper has a large collection of old photographs collected over the years and wants to show a selection of these for everyone to enjoy. He has used some of them to illustrate a range of books he has had published on Shrewsbury and other parts of Shropshire. These can be reviewed on the book list for the appropriate area. David is also available to present slide shows, and lead guided walks around Shrewsbury. The photographs have now been digitally enhanced creating even better presentations, with sharper and clearer views than before, giving you the opportunity to share in the memories of life in the towns and villages of Shropshire over the past 100 years.
